Chick-fil-A just announced its fall menu, and I think they may have a winner. Starting August 24, they're launching a Chicken & Waffles Sandwich nationwide...chicken, two maple-flavored waffles, applewood-smoked bacon, honey butter, and syrup on the side!
And they're making two versions, a smaller breakfast sandwich and a larger entrée available throughout the day. You can even swap in spicy or grilled chicken, add an egg, cheese or more bacon. Apparently Chick-fil-A tested this in San Antonio and Baltimore last year and decided the rest of us deserved it too.
They're also adding a S'mores Milkshake and S'mores Frosted Coffee for fall. I'm normally skeptical when fast-food restaurants start messing with the classics...but spicy chicken AND waffles AND bacon AND honey butter might require some investigation. Who's trying this?

That's fair. The chicken and waffles are real, enthusiasm enhanced...although, I am a huge fan of Chick-fil-A and chicken/waffles.

Low key I saw this this morning, and my mouth was watering hard core.
Right! I'm in the southeast, so it's Chick-fil-A, Popeyes spicy, and Royal Farms for best fried chicken...and only one offers chicken and waffles!
Might have to try this out!
