I guess if we hold his lessons to heart and try to become better people, he wouldn’t mind it so much?

Yeah that is what makes this book so captivating to me. But at the same time I am violating his privacy.

I guess we may have felt that we were intruding upon his private space, but it’s precisely because they were not intended for public consumption that his thoughts are unfiltered and authentic
