Yes, I thought it was a little gentle myself. The X account is brand new and I always worry that these things end up as scams. So maybe it is just s goody goody scammer trying to lay sound groundwork for an ask. 

All the same, I mostly respect the attitude.

It's another to acknowledge that anger/judgment in this situation is just and appropriate.

They massively f'd up, and their arrogance leading up to it justifiably warrants the anger directed at them.
