I got this e-mail a couple months ago and I can't stop thinking about it. I blocked the sender but that money keeps tempting me. Is this a scam? Why are they offering to pay so much money for something they can create for free?
Using money that doesn't exist as an incentive to get access to your private repos. They're secret harvesting. Presumably the security practices of private repos would be more lax than public repos.
