Follow the electrum.org link provided.
Ideally use a Linux OS loaded onto a USB.
This way your cold wallet never goes online and you are in total control.
Loading a Linux OS onto a USB data stick is probably the hardest part.

As always DYOR and spend time and care learning the tech- but I have done it and am no way a tech guy- just a low tech person but serious about not trusting third parties with my life savings.

Get the USB Linux OS working then closely follow the electrum cold storage guide.

It is fun and great learning and gives you secure storage with complete control.

True self sovereignty is not acquired via highly touted and costly branded gadgets.
