ive gotta make some upgrades to the image cropping algorithm imrunning in the coin photography app. it's cutting some white parts out of the coins where it shouldn't.

you can see here is an example, when zoomed in on a coin with very shiney areas

Got the photography rig's motor working agin. looks like more molten cables because of the voltage increase, so again, rather than using DuPont connectors, i soldered the wires in place for better conductivity and less flakey connections.

Listing a load of old colonial coinage today. Will drop some screengrabs here later
