I’ve been here for two days trying to upload a web version for a client, and I feel just like those videos of cars stuck in the mud—spinning my wheels in the same spot over silly errors that have probably sent my blood pressure through the roof.

Reckon it could be the classic sort of problem where you're bashing your head against a wall for ages, but then you put your tools down, come back to it a while later and the solution presents itself effortlessly?

It’s a deployment tool used at the company—built using nothing less than Java—but you have to make customizations for each client, so it’s not standardized; that’s why every client ends up being a bit of a "mystery."

I really hope it’s a case of just jumping in and fixing it; let's see if I can get it sorted out after lunch.

well, it says they'll start circulating in fall, optimistically I'll have coin deposits enabled by then, and even if not i can already technically process a coin deposit quite easily, albeit a little more manually than the deposit system will be.

so perhaps we can arrange a little shipment?

i guess i could also find some resellers on eBay here and snag a bulk batch 😄
