This post is part of a series. It is meant to be a place for stackers to discuss creative projects they have been working on, or ideas they are aiming to build. Regardless of your project being personal, professional, physical, digital, or even simply an idea to brainstorm together.
If you have any creative projects or ideas that you have been working on or want to eventually work on... This is a place for discussing those, gather initial feedback and feel more energetic on bringing it to the next level.
Thanks @d680ecaa8e and @2a0b72a75e for joining and sharing your ideas in the previous edition. How are you all doing with your projects? Any update?

I'd like to make a Nostr based Meetup.com alternative that is map based.
The general idea is you would travel a greater distance to attend an event you cared more about.
Someone would propose an idea for an event (could be a one-off event, or a recurring series more similar to a meetup group) in a general area, and you would respond by showing what area of the map you would consider attending said event.
The proposer of the event would receive back a heat map showing geographical areas that if the event were to happen there, how many people would be interested. The responding areas would need to have at least some overlap with the original proposer's area.
Once a sufficient number of people were interested, a private group message could be used to schedule the event among those interested.
For notifications, users would draw areas to indicate when they wanted to be alerted of new events containing certain keywords.
Perhaps I draw one shape to indicate an area I'd like to be alerted of any events containing the word SURFING, and another shape on the map to indicate the area I'd like to be alerted of any event that contains the word BITCOIN.
The thought is this method would both indicate relative interest (size of the shape on the map, and number of respondents) while also helping pick a location for events to be organized.
For privacy, you could be overly large with the areas you draw, and not center them around your home town. The general premise should still work.
It seems like a fun way to get people to gather over common interests.
That's a great idea, and we need more of such apps. There are already some tools out in the wild doing exactly that. They probably miss the map feature your idea is based on. Have you bump into flockstr or plektos yet?
I highly recommend having a look and checking where the gap is and matching it with your idea to start building.

I think for example if you rely on post articles and getting reward is little deprecated idea. There are fast ideas that brings money faster like exness or for example polymarket com. The write of article and get zaps either SN or primal net or even other competitive platforms doesn't reach expectation of remuneration. Even in leo and blurt blog is increment of cents. Better let it as spare earning and concentrate on paid to lead like partnerize.
There's a much more profound difference between gambling and being creative, and that goes beyond bringing in money. One day you might learn the difference.
Vocal media is the most rewarding platform but it needs a verified Stripe which not being available in my country that is the key change, if writing let you earn some cents that could not compensate redaction effort.
briefly did some research hacking earlier this week for nostr webshops and how clink actually makes them viable... the nostr shops specs are a disaster, but clink seems to fix the worst of it. Will likely have to make a big PR to the nips repo re: nip99
will get back to that at some point... more importantly we've got a big wallet PR in QA and a breaking rpc change for pub that separates the admin and user protos so that pub dashboard can be made a lot better
the automated activity log i set up seems to be working: https://shock.network/changelog/
is NIP99 the new standard for stores and products?
@AG, we should investigate this new client.
Replaced nip15, not sure how new
I'll let you know once I get it further along
That changelog is looking great. Any chance you could add links to repos/issues/PR to provide more context in case anyone wants to dive into details?
juice might not be worth the squeeze adding github proper into the loop... PRs maybe..
however, separately, did make an auto-release bot that auto-versions with release notes (only on pub for the moment, will replicate to wallet after tuning... need to see how it does with a major) https://github.com/shocknet/Lightning.Pub/releases/tag/v0.0.31 that should make things easier to follow with more tags
