I suggest @NEEDcreations optimism about his 4th place Red Sox deserves quote of the week. "I can't wait until I can say, 'I told you so' when we beat the Dodgers in 6 in the World Series. BOOK IT! ⚾️"

It takes some stones to say this about a 44-48 team. I respect it.

The Boston Red Sox have the best record in baseball, since June 18th.

17-6

They are on an impressive run. The Yankees were also the best team in baseball over the first month of the season and they have come back to reality. Same with Braves. Cubs went on a 10 game winning streak and then lost 10 in a row. It’s baseball. I know you aren’t new to baseball. You are just being a fan.

the yankees always have a summer slump, and the sox always surge :)

Bad time to go on break when you are the hottest team in baseball. I was pretty bullish on the Red Sox going into the season. I don’t know why they started so poorly but you are missing your number one starter and your number one young superstar. I think it is a lot to ask for this team to be a real contender (wild card team sure) without those guys. And do they really add at the deadline knowing they are missing those guys and they might be dealing with a bit of fools gold right now. Tough call.

I hope we get 1-2 veteran bats before the deadline. I'm sure that's the plan at this point...

Trade deadline will be fascinating. Hardly any clear sellers.

I know, it's wild. Basically every team is in the mix hahaha

Jays trying to remove themselves from the mix by blowing games.

We will trade you John Schneider for your bat boy. Dude is managing the all star game and should be fired the next day.

So need it is
