Nike is a stock I hold as part of an experiment I am doing

reply

That's a bold experiment. The multiple compression on $NKE has been brutal because the market priced it like a high-growth tech stock during the DTC hype. Now that margins are squeezed to clear inventory, flat top-line revenue isn't enough. What's your average entry price?

reply

$58.67 😆

reply

Haha, we’ve all been there with that heavy entry price. But honestly, it's a solid average for a long-term play. The market is brutally punishing the DTC transition right now, but Nike is still the king. Just stay patient and HODL; once inventory clears out, green days will be back.

Thanks! They pay a dividend as well

Profit margin has eroded and China sales have slowed. At its peak the market was pricing continued growth due to China.

Earnings yield is around 10% right now. Not a bad buy if you think they can maintain their revenue and profits.
