I guess my view on these two things:

  • BIP - not too worried either way, it'll pan out. I do think all the hullaballoo is not good for bitcoin as a whole as it just adds to FUD, especially amongst normies and TV talking heads
  • Saylor - not too worried. Like any stock, buy it if you want, sell it if you want, whatever. It's a stock. Bitcoin don't care.

Combined, I disagree that bitcoin is coopted by these two. It keeps churning regardless.
