When bitcoin reaches 5-10k it will be well on its way. Now of course... Bitcoin will still 'work' but it will be also down 95% so at that point make up your own mind
the code and block generation/construction will * "work" * for as long as someone, somewhere runs the software and mining equipment -- i.e., forever.
Bitcoin, the monetary system, won't * "work" * if it's not doing what it needs to: preserve/increase purchasing power, opt out of financial system etc, etc.
Well before 10k I think we can designate it having "died," and thoroughly abandon ship

We have failed to educate the public adequately they don't understand it, the shitcoiners had too much influence and after all...
People are lazy they want fiat and stocks. You can buy almost any stock index and it goes up every year, the government sees to that even if they have to print up the money (they do) no study required, self custody, or even responsibility and that's what people want.
Buy stocks get fiat that is what people want, no need for bitcoin in that world and it shows.
