correction on this one... nothing can make lightning receive offline, including CLINK, since lightning is inherently synchronous

I think the confusion on this is intentional misrepresentation by the bolt12 camp of retry schemes, since bolt12 was pushed heavily by mobile-node demand for ad-hoc receiving yet mobiles are default off-line

CLINK philosophy is you have a real node that's always online making money while you sleep

The intention was making it more intuitive for newbies. From a practical perspective somehow, hiding all the tech jargon, sats can still be received when the phone reconnects online.
