pull down to refresh

Over the past couple of months, I've been quietly working on something I never imagined I'd create: a book and audiobook.

It's a collection of thoughts and lessons drawn from over a decade of running NOICE Magazine, making photographs, curating the work of hundreds of photographers, and the rabbit hole that Bitcoin sent me down years ago.

Photography, curation, editing, attention, time, value, money - all of it seemed connected. I couldn't find a resource that tied these ideas together in a way that felt honest, practical, and easy to understand, so I decided to make it myself.

I call it Proof of Work

The book contains 30 chapters, an appendix, and a complete audio narration (3 hours worth) so you can listen, read, or do both at the same time. It's also paired with 30 of my own photographs - not as decoration, but as evidence. Proof of years spent walking, looking, paying attention, and making work simply because I find the absurdity and beauty of the world worth noticing.

There are several ways to access the book, but my favorite is the pay-per-chapter option. You can unlock each chapter individually with sats and move through it at your own pace. It feels aligned with the slower, more intentional nature of the material itself. Your unlocked chapters are saved across devices, and you can log in using the email associated with your first purchase.

If any of this sounds interesting, I'd be grateful if you'd give it a listen.

Share it with a friend if you find value in it. And if you happen to come across any bugs or issues along the way, let me know. Building something like this has been a learning experience, and your feedback helps make it better.

The connection between photography and Bitcoin isn't technology. It's time preference.
