This is an entirely self-congratulatory post. Skip if you don’t want to read about me blowing my own trumpet.
But honestly, I think I’m adept at gathering my wits and resources.
The deadline for a Science assignment was looming over my head. In fact, it would be due tomorrow! Conceptualised my ideas last night and crystallized them this morning. Brought my son’s penguins, my jacket and a library book on penguins to work. Typed my lesson plan and handout feverishly during the two periods before my Science class. Delivered it with as much conviction and passion as I could.
Emerged unscathed from the lesson with my confidence and dignity intact. Went out for brunch with a colleague. Came back to prepare PPT slides and incorporated my reflections.
