I'm trying to log in to SN on a regular android tablet using email. I can't seem to enter the verification code. Has anyone else had this problem?

Hi! I’ll try to reproduce this on an Android phone!

Can you tell me if the verification code field was greyed out? Also was it on browser or PWA?

Hi @siggy47, sorry if I'm updating you just now, I'm not able to reproduce your issue. Login via email is smooth on my Android.

I have to say that our magic code for emails is a bit particular, we had to do workarounds to implement it on top of our current auth system. As a result, on some devices, the magic code field might be greyed out and stop you from logging in.
This happens especially when the browser clears some crucial data we need to make magic code work.

We have much more control over our auth system now, so I'll try to make it less fragile today and I'll update you when the fix comes live. I'm sorry for the inconvenience.
