“When he talks about destroying Iranian civilisation, returning Iran to the Stone Age, seeing big blows in Iran – in Iran, at least, people think that he’s referring to attacking Iran with nuclear weapons,” Izadi told Al Jazeera from Tehran.
But one reason he hasn’t done this is because of the enriched uranium in the country, he said.
“Because if Trump attacks Iran with nuclear weapons or threatens to attack Iran with nuclear weapons, then that would give permission to Iran to do something with that enriched uranium.”
