I have always been an English teacher, so it takes some getting used to now that I’m in the Science department.
One reason why I find it difficult to assimilate into my new-found identity is that I will need to set assessment and examination papers. And boy, do I abhor the process. Take today for instance. I spent two periods of thirty minutes each trying to paste a question about seed dispersal on my exam paper template.
Everything was going pretty smoothly even though I was working at a snail’s pace. Unfortunately, the text boxes turned grey when I was trying my best to adjust the last image. I then attempted to edit them, but to no avail. Spurred by frustration, I deleted that question.
Geez, I HATE FORMATTING!
Over to you.
I don't like your presumption that I only have one pet peeve. I contain multitudes!
Most of mine relate to other people being inconsiderate of how their actions affect those around them: for instance, stopping their grocery cart in a way that blocks more traffic than necessary.
Touché
all the peevs, but the biggest one is people not forming lines properly and taking too long at checkouts, especially in the pharmacy.
now to be fair, in the West maybe it wouldn't be an issue, but after a decade in Russia (worst line cutters ever) and then Bulgaria, these two things are my main triggers and I encounter them at least 3 times a week lol
People who feel the need to explain the same thing several times instead of just getting the concept across the first time.
I love formatting. When I'm typing, I don't care how it turn sout. After which I'll go back to start and begin formatting, o boy! Do I love it.
You know that relieve you get after your chores, that's sort of how I feel when I'm formatting.
