Fountain 1.5 is now live with a brand new trending feed showcasing which episodes your nostr network find valuable.
The new trending feed combines different signals to rank notes including zap value, reactions, and recency to highlight a broad set of recommendations.
We’ve also re-written the backend so feed queries along with comments, threads, and profiles now load much faster.
I’d love to hear your feedback on the new trending feed - especially if you think anything’s missing or we could give more weight to certain things.
This may be totally unrelated but it’s taken a very long time for our pod to show up on Fountain the past couple of weeks.
we had some bots that were scraping our site for podcasts and causing a massive traffic spike to both us and podcastindex that were causing some delayed feed parsing - but this should be resolved now
