I don't know that I've ever seen people turn on somebody so quickly as a lot of the conservative movement has on Tucker Carlson. I've never really been a fan of the man, but lately his positions have shifted to positions that I align with. Do I agree in co-sign, everything he says? Of course not. Frankly, I don't listen to everything he says. I've got a life.
It's just wild to watch someone who supported Trump be turned on when he disagrees with foreign policy decisions made by Donald Trump. Many of the questions he asks about Israel and its relationship to the U.S. foreign policy are questions many of us have asked for decades. Even people who are not political have asked me these questions. Why are we so hell bent on defending a country that seemingly has little to do with us?
I have many Christian friends who have asked me why do people say that Christians have to support this government of a foreign country? When I started asking these questions, I was met with shock and anger that I would even ask the question. When I encounter this kind of reaction, it almost always is coming from a place of ignorance. When people become defensive and angry, typically it's because they are feeling threatened.
And that's my theory. I think Tucker Carlson is an actual threat to the powers that be. His audience is grown. He seems to be somewhat independent. He's no longer at Fox News or at CNN. So he kind of can do what he wants. I'm not a Tucker fan, but he must be on to something or else he wouldn't be getting this much attention.
What do you think?
I think your psyop radar is broken
The Powers That Be cannot bear any discussion even close to The Greater Israel Project.
Or the fact that Jewish bankers control the US Fed Res.
Fix it then.
What I mean is if he were as wacky and dumb as they claim they would be ignoring him. His reach is likely concerning the establishment Republicans. I mean, what he is pushing back on is not the MAGA agenda, but rather the latest evolution of empire building by the new crowd running Trump.
According to Nick Fuentes this is a poly to draw votes to JD Vance. According to him when the 2028 primaries roll around Tucker will draw in the MAGA base in an attempt to elevate Vance since he is connected to Trump in this war.
Thus Tucker will get the base excited only to bow out and support JD
Not impossible. Fuentes to me is even more likely to be an opprotive than Tucker. Vance has opposed war in the past. If Tucker is an op I'd be shocked if Fuentes isn't as well.
Bottom line to me is that the reactions to Tucker remind me of how people used to try to dismiss Ron Paul. Not on arguments but smears and mocking. It's weak and shows fear.
The pattern you're describing isn't unique to Tucker — it happens every time someone with a large platform breaks from their "expected" lane. The reaction itself is more interesting than whatever he's actually saying. When the response to a question is anger instead of an answer, that tells you more about the question's power than anything else.
Yep, I agree.
I think you’re right. Tucker’s been trending in a good direction since he realized the Neocons had duped him about Iraq.
Tucker has major blind spots and frankly I still find him annoying. Maybe he's an op. Always possible but the reactions from people that are in no way in on any op tell me he's concerning people. People that don't want people to consider different ideas.
Very natural reaction. It comes from so many places that it's hard to even know where to begin.
Part of it is simply the association of anti-Israel sentiment with the left (and it is stronger on the left). That automatically puts some Christians in a suspicious posture.
Obviously, part of it is the natural affinity Christians feel for Israel, given that so much of the biblical narrative takes place there.
Ultimately, I just wish people would be willing to have rational conversations, whether you're Christian, Atheist, Muslim, pro-Israel, or anti-Israel. But it's really hard to do so. Sometimes, those who try to stay rational get castigated as not caring, not having sufficient moral fervor in one direction or another. It's annoying.
Dig Tucker Dig!
The Greater Israel Project.
Explains a lot about Israel.
Some Israelis and some fundamentalist Christians believe all land between the Nile and the Euphrates was given by God to the Jews . . . because it is written so in the Bible...and the Bible is the literal truth . . .
To question this, or to even raise it, is to be attacked constantly, and yet it is what they believe.
They also know it is totally unacceptable to most people.
Zionists own the US government, media and fiat banking.
Do not talk about the war because to do so leads inevitably to . . .
The Greater Israel Project.
If you are a follower of the Way, and Yeshua fulfilled Israel’s law, why are we treating Israel like a special exception?
