Real Madrid battled through most of the match to qualify for the semifinals. However, after Camavinga was sent off, Bayern scored twice in the last few minutes of the match to advance to the next round. The match had a thrilling start with two goals in just 5 minutes. Neuer, Bayern's goalkeeper, missed a pass at the first minute of play and Güler sent it to the net. 4 minutes later, in a badly defended corner kick, Bayern equalized.

Güler gave the lead to Real Madrid, again, with a free kick and, later on, Harry Kane joined the party to equalize again the match. Just before halftime, between Vinicius and Mbappé made the third goal and gave some hope to the Spanish fans.

The second half seemed slower and it looked like we were going to end in the extra time. However, Camavinga stopped a Bayern player in the midfield and the referee decided to show him the second yellow card. This helped Bayern to increase the pressure and in the last 5 minutes scored twice to beat Real Madrid 4-3.

In the other match of the night, Arsenal and Sporting got a draw (0-0) and, thanks to the Gunners victory in Portugal, they will play against Atletico.

PSG and Bayern will play the other semifinal.

The first leg of the semifinal round will take place on April 28-29th, with the second on May 5-6th.
