For this, I agree it feels disingenuous:

I know all the arguments that make the faith sound like the most reasonable thing in the world, why not teach them to my children even if I don't believe them myself? Well, I think that's the part that is bothering me. I don't like telling my kids to believe in something that I don't believe in my self.

Inauthentic. Almost lying. But you keep plenty of things from your kids on a regular basis — think sex, or taxes, or schooling/brainwashing — but depending on their age, it might not be time for those convos yet.
