I scraped 22 Grokipedia UFO/UAP pages and compiled them into a Karpathy-style LLM knowledge base: 41 cross-referenced wiki articles covering concepts, key figures, events, government programs, and cultural impact.
What the evidence establishes:
- 91-95% of reports are misidentifications (consistent across Blue Book, Hendry 1979, AARO)
- A 5-9% residual persists with genuinely unusual characteristics (multi-sensor, hypersonic, transmedium)
- Zero verified non-terrestrial artifacts in 80 years
- Every major investigation (US, UK, France, NASA, SETI) independently finds no ET evidence
- Governments used UFO mythology to cover classified aircraft (documented by AARO 2024)
- Over-classification of UAP data is real; Congress can't access programs it has authority to review
- Deep psychological roots: sleep paralysis, cultural feedback loops, cross-cultural parallels
- The Lazar case rests on testimony alone; credentials fabricated, zero physical evidence after 37 years
Open questions:
- What is the persistent residual?
- What's in the classified sensor data?
- Are military encounters foreign adversary drones?
- Why does the brain produce consistent UFO experiences cross-culturally?
The repo includes a conclusions synthesis and prioritized unanswered questions. Built with Claude using the Karpathy LLM wiki methodology (raw sources immutable, LLM compiles/maintains the wiki layer). Corrections welcome. PRs more welcome!
