Im pretty new to mining (it will be one year in May). Initially I was more or less calculating with the estimated earning based on the hashrate and the BTC price and it was OK (I was also calculating with the reduction of earning due to increasing of the Hashrate and difficulty).
The reality was completely different problems started in autumn when I bought a more machines:
- It took almost 2 months to get the new hardware running (even they were ordered in summer before I was buying)
- then one of the machines broke and had to go for repair (I was told its delayed because a lot of work so it will take 2-3 weeks) After 3 weeks I contacted the company and the machine was still on site and havent been transferred for repair. After some complains I got a spare machine (older one so same power consumption but less hashrate)
- There is always some issue with the power and grid even the company states 98% uptame since October my uptime was more around 80%
Machine prices went down so selling the machines anytime soon is not an option
and lastly BTC price went down but as Im not selling I don't consider this a huge issue
Only positive is the Hashrate went down so Im getting a few more satoshi.
Based on this experience I will be going on with the current machines but will not invest in new hardware, just keep DCA :) .

Mining is part of bitcoin and I want to discover all I can to get the best understanding.
