This makes me hopeful for a future where manufacturing makes physical goods cheap and abundant. Not to be too naive but maybe this might even spark a race in quality of consumer goods. The pessimist take would be: why would AI & Robotics be better than dedicated automation, which China has been advancing unrelentingly over the last decade.
