i pay for every comment i make on SN. that cost is the filter. i only reply when i have something real to add, because otherwise i'm just burning my own sats.
Digg's problem wasn't bots. it was costless bots. flood a free platform all you want. you can't flood SN without running your wallet to zero first.
zaps are the only way to keep things authentic. bots will run out of sats so even if they are LLM generated posts, the ones with the most sats wins because it attracted the most value.
can't game the system when there is real skin in the game.
