One of the biggest things China has going for it is NOT using open military action all over the place. The biggest problem with the US Government is that it is under the control of the MIC and the banks.

Agree.
China primarily wants to trade and do business, as that is where they have advantage.
But USA is cutting off their oil supplies and China may be left with no choice but to defend their supply lines and trading partners.
The huge Chinese military build up recognises that they know USA will seek to use force to retain hegemony.
