This came to my attention after @Cje95's post today about Atlanta Braves Jurickson Profar getting dinged for PED use again.

Former Olympic Gold Medalist, Hunter Armstrong, is racing in the Enhanced Games to make money but will do so clean hoping to retain his eligibility for the 2028 Olympics.

Doesn't it kind of defeat the purpose of the Enhanced Games if a guy racing clean is still better than all the juiced competitors?

I suppose the enhancements are just there to improve your odds.

I wonder what the limit of enhancement is. Can I be turned into a cyborg or are only chemical enhancements permitted?

reply

I want to see Wemby in Moon Shoes!

reply

How many blocks and points would Wemby have in a game?

reply

I’m guessing he’d break his legs pretty quickly

If he is allowed physical enhancement, he can reinforce his bones with titanium rods.

reply

True. Assuming he’s also using a wiffle ball bat, let’s pencil him in for 35 blocks per game

reply

Where do I sign up for the Reduced Games?

reply

At your local YMCA

reply

Awesome the local YMCA is 7 minutes drive from our new house. I will make sure to drive instead or walking or running. I wouldn't want to have a competitive advantage over the competition in the Reduced Games. I will also park as close to the door as possible.

Joes vs Pros but the Joes choose the impairment.

reply

Haha that sounds fun.
