It's opt-in, like any wallet you add to SN, I will explicitly warn folks to treat it as custodial, and we'll nudge them to use something else and withdraw when the balance gets high.

Why not just ignore it totally and focus on other important things... ?
This is just bending the knee in front of the Bitcoin enemies (or who knows they push a full giant pile of cash for it to be part of the "Marcus family").

because

  1. even folks with lightning wallets don't want to add them to a quirky website
  2. folks that come here and contribute high-value stuff here should be able to earn their first sats

a long time ago, you said "SN is like an LN faucet," getting people started with some sats. i'd like SN to be that again.

users need LN wallets in order to post or to zap or to get Cowboy Credits;

therefore, however they want to fund their participation on SN, it wud be more seamless with a click of a button - some people here love to frequently zap other creators' content, in order to publicly praise the work; maybe then the new users can learn, from those honorable content creators how to get goooood at lightning; seriously, how long did it take an average bitcoiner to arrive at LN proficiency? esp. in the extreme fiat inflation environment, social disasters, attention distractions, etc.

bitcoin is 17yo, LN 11yo, nostr 6 yo, SN 5yo, and to expect a 10x jump in social presence & voice-power with a few code fixes is unreasonable;

the real way to overturn the enshittification of SN is to bring in properly thinking users, do a fucking enema like a man, and eat-drink-breathe correctly;

then, one either waits for the dumbasses to die off (due to poor health habits) or starts educating and signaling about proper health habits;

That time is over. Was just an experiment. SN must move to another model.
This is total crap, you are perpetuating and encouraging the custodianship, not limit it.

Again: CCs are perfectly fine. People will not get rich anyways from posting on SN.

Their test suites pass. Prompting with "Statement for statement" seemed to work like magic. Now I just have to school myself on Frost so I can review the darn thing.
