The thing is, before I found Bitcoin, I was just a regular guy who didn't think twice about ads, tracking, data scraping or online privacy

I had to take the orange pill to learn how to actually protect myself, like using a VPN or switching to YouTube frontends to ditch the surveillance

It started with NewPipe, I loved the ad free feature, then it kept breaking, getting hit with shutdowns

So then I switched to PipePipe, seriously amazing fork of newpipe, super smooth, more features, but same story, YouTube cracked down and it got shutdown

Now I'm on Tubular, another NewPipe fork with built in SponsorBlock and it's my current daily driver, no scammy pre vid ads

And it automatically skips those annoying in video sponsor ads from Bitfluencers shilling their preferred exchange or wallet

This feels like whack a mole with YouTube shutting down these forks until another pops up

I'll be gutted when Tubular gets shutdown because it the most reliable one yet
