Totally agree. It’s easy to meme about hyperbitcoinization, but the friction in Lightning right now is real. We’re still in the 'infrastructure phase.' Until the UX is invisible and just works for my grandma, the culture will stay niche. I guess 'walking the talk' for now means being patient with the tech while pushing for better tools
Yes that's true but its also true that those of us who can attach a wallet here and use it everyday or whenever we are on here are contributing to the growth and strength of the LN.
Every time I zap comment or post here I pay with sats vias LN. Each transaction pays fees to the nodes and wallets and that supports the further development of the LN.
I use coinos wallet because it is easy to attach- if I can do it your Grandma probably can too.

I love the fact I can use LN everyday here and am in a small way helping fund and grow the LN so that it will get stronger and more reliable.
If we do not use LN it will not grow and develop.
If we wait until it is perfect before using it - it may never reach that point.
Fair point and not sure why anyone would downvote it.
The development of sound money requires the people use it, not just talk about it.
LN wallets still need to develop a lot more before they are ready to be able to handle the volumes of transactions required for Bitcoin to be a viable universal adoption option.
There are those here who do just talk about Bitcoin but do not walk the talk.
