True and worthy podcasts to listen are only the ones that show, discuss, present real bitcoin adoption solutions and people using it.

No price prediction, no bullshit "reserves asset companies", no "market capitalization", no crap debates, no crap "you are not bullish enough" and all those stupidities nonsense.

Shill me real podcasts talking about how people start using Bitcoin in their daily life, what solutions they used, merchants, users, developers, communities.

All the rest is garbage.

Bitcoin OpTech is not garbage

reply

That's not a podcast, is a tech talk about what is going on in Bitcoin tech.
Put a normie merchant to listen that tech talk and after first 3 min will say: sorry I do not understand shit.
Those tech talks are for bitcoin freaks.
But sometimes all these tech freaks have to listen also what real people want to use, how they use etc.

Recently I was talking with 2 merchants about bitcoin. One of them told me frankly: you guys, bitcoiners, are from another world....

If we do not help these people to accept bitcoin, we are all fucked. Bitcoin is for nothing.

Daniel Prince does a pretty good job of it with his Once Bitten! podcast. I haven't listened to all of the episodes so I can't guarantee that there are no price predictions & stuff like that, but he does bring a lot of people on who are perhaps not widely known, but are making stuff IRL and building on Bitcoin.

Ungovernable Misfits pops in mind as well, although for some reason I haven't listened to that podcast for months now (in my defense, I've been laying off the Bitcoin podcasts in general and gone more into philosophical and esoteric subjects).

That's a great idea for a podcast actually.

If I would be a podcaster, I will start inviting all BTCmap merchants, one by one.
Telling their bitcoin story.

I can't believe someone isn't already doing this.

too many interests behind every influencer

reply

I haven’t listened yet but there’s a new one that’s specifically about meetups and local bitcoin communities.

I want to see all those "bitcoin influencers" inviting real merchants and customers that they were trying to implement a bitcoin solution, a simple payment solution, how they were struggling, how they achieve it, how they manage their finance etc. real cases IRL.

Bitcoin and LN is not perfect. It have real chalenges when is used. We need to hear these people and come up with the right solutions.

I see nowadays a lot of so called devs, creating a plethora of apps but they do not start with asking these people what they really need.
Look at the ep2 of CypherTanks... total garbage!

I am tired of podcasters inviting other podcasters and talking about that same crap, over an over.

Hopefully you find it
