I made an offhand comment when crossposting began on SN, doubting if anyone would ever achieve the distinction of having the #1 weekly post in all four of my territories. Well, I was wrong. @SimpleStacker ran the board with this post:
He put in his proof of work and earned this distinction. I will be zapping his post an additional 4000 sats to recognize this honor.
However, I do want to say that I didn't mean to create a challenge here that stackers should look to emulate. I do award top posts in my territories extra sats, but the purpose is to encourage quality posts, not encourage stackers to game the system. I want to be clear. @SimpleStacker is capable of doing this, but I don't want other stackers rushing to copy him. I can envision a situation where posts are inappropriately shoehorned into one of my territories just to be put in the running for a bonus. That's not fair to other territory owners, nor will it be beneficial to SN in the long run.
So, please look at this as a one time event. If someone succeeds again, and it is a quality post like @SimpleStacker 's, I will honor it. On the other hand, if I get the sense that this is an attempt to game the system, I will not zap the posts and may downzap to discourage this behavior.

Thank you very much! I saw it mostly a fun challenge to try, but I agree that it doesn't honor the spirit of your rewards and so I wouldn't try this a second time, at least not on purpose.
I also thought the intersection of bitcoin and animal welfare was an inherently interesting, if somewhat obscure topic.
Also, I noticed that the post only hit #1 on ~BooksAndArticles because of the zaps you gave it from the other territories. So in a sense, it didn't actually hit #1 there on its own. I think den's post on the Capitalism book was the true #1 this week? Or your own winter road trip post.
Very good point. On the other hand, that could have been part of your strategy. In the spirit of fairness, I'm going to zap Den another 750 SATs, which would give him a first place award.
