there's a bitcoin address in the comments on the Youtube videos. It had 6 btc in it before it moved. I followed it for a while, was merged with other inputs up to ~30 btc before getting split up again.

They were pretty good! I imagine they did okay. They vanished around 2015. But not before they made a bunch of songs. The Silk Road one is my favorite.
I believe the song in the OP is actually where the term "hodl" comes from (#1353063)
