It is critical to note that the market settles based on OPM’s determination! As stated in the description
This market will resolve to “Yes” if the U.S. Office of Personnel Management (OPM) announces a federal government shutdown, including a partial government shutdown, due to a lapse in appropriations by January 31, 2026, 11:59 PM ET.
Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No".
There are tons of rumors and stated things out there but it is critical to know OPM is the body tha matters! Just trying to prevent any issues before they arise!
