Compared to SoCal. It sucks. It snows. You can get tornado but there are much worse places for both. Its humid but no where near Florida levels. All depends on your preferences. Some people like 4 seasons. Its in the south so I think its pretty mild.
I thought it was funny he responded by saying there are more millionaires in NYC now than in 2021 in response to the capital flight question.
Yeah when you print trillions of dollars and assets go up in value and Manhattan shoeboxes in the sky are trading at $2000 plus per sqft you make a lot of people millionaires.
I remember being a kid and the idea of being a millionaire seemed so absurdly rich. Little did I know fiat debasement would eventually make everyone a millionaire.
Good. There are alternatives to Trumps voodoo economics. Reducing the tax burden on lower income earners stimulates consumption and the productive economy generally. Only rich prick parasites will leave- better off without them.
Dual exodus from both CA and NY? Real estate agents in FL, TX are going to be busy.....
It's so bad that people are moving to New Jersey
Hahahahaha
Tennessee is underrated. No income tax and lower prop taxes than Texas. Also no gators...
TN is awesome, especially the eastern side. Knox county had Austro-libertarian mayor for a long time and the setting is beautiful.
Yeah, I have loved that area for a long time. One of the areas I would strongly consider moving if I were to do so.
How's the weather though?

It's a little hot and muggy for my taste. Tornados aren't an issue if you're in the hills.

Being a millionaire ain't what it used to be

Same! We used to dream up all the things you could buy for a million dollars. Now? Forget it.
I got a medium boke bowl $20 the other day. I checked my email receipt history and in 2021 it was large for $16 😢
Good point
