There are two reason why we switched to BIP-177 ₿ (bitcoins)

1. It lets us save horizontal space on small screens
2. Jack Dorsey's Square has launched bitcoin payments on all its POS. There they use ₿ instead of sats to make it easy for normies. We're following their footsteps to appeal to normies. Normal people just can not understand whats sats is. Some of my normal friend thought sats is some kinda crypto coin that they need to buy from Coinbase or Binance
