When code is a commodity, the market doesn't need more code. 100% of the code for 1% of the commitment is not the slam dunk that it appears to be.

On net, on average, code is a liability and now there is more of it. Things that aren't measured by token quantity are still in short supply and are in even shorter supply now.

I've made the same assessment 6 months ago: "How is it going?" -> "Pretty terrible, there is no inflow of new FOSS coders anymore."
