Very interesting survey of many of the stakeholders in decisions about water flows along the Colorado River in the US Southwest.
Multiple states, many cities, native tribes, and lots of different industries are dependent on Colorado River water...not least of which is the massive (and growing) city of Phoenix in Arizona.
I know people who live in Phoenix, which is basically a big city in the middle of a desert and pretty heavily dependent on the Colorado River for water. The people I know are very confident that they won't run out of water.
I certainly wouldn't buy land in Phoenix.
Good read anyway. Just wish they went a little more in depth with each of the stakeholders.
