These stories kill me. They don't involve any fancy tech or subterfuge. They simply involve a good talker who can stress people out. We're seeing the same bullshit right now locally with fake people calling and telling you you have an outstanding warrant, they are a sheriff's deputy, and if you don't pay immediately they will arrest you in minutes. Absolute crap but with today's environment, many think it's totally believable. They're seeing they're neighbors hauled away off the street, so why would it be different if they are suddenly contacted? Elderly are sitting victims for this garbage.
