Exactly, and two wrongs don't make a right, so you can also not follow instructions yet have a wrong answer.

It's obviously a function of how well their memory holds up.
The impatient have less time left to waste on waiting for people or stuff to get sorted. And the patient have forgotten that they were waiting for something to begin with.

I always find 'wrong answers only' threads hard because the set of wrong answers is so large, and we want the most wrong answer in the funniest way possible. In this case, most of the funny-ish answers that occur to me require making fun of being old and aren't very funny.
