The "arguments" against bitcoin like this work for two reasons.
  1. The person is dumb
  2. The person is willfully acting in ignorance. They aren't thinking in good will.
My wife always chuckles when she hears this way of framing bitcoin as dangerous. Bitcoin is illuminating. It reveals how many people are just not interested in thinking or seem incapable of doing it.
