Last year, we hosted a Bitcoin vote on the U.S. presidential election. The result turned out to be quite unexpected.
After the event ended, I took some time to step back and reflect. I started thinking more seriously about what role Bitcoin voting might play in human society.
Over time, I formed many thoughts around this. Some of them I’ve shared informally on Twitter, and I plan to organize and share them more clearly in the future. But before doing that, there is something more important I want to say first.
Thank you.
Thank you to everyone who participated in that vote. Your participation gave me insights I didn’t anticipate and became a major source of inspiration for what followed. For that, I am genuinely grateful.
I will continue working on Bitcoin voting and developing it further, so that these kinds of voting events can continue to happen. In fact, my goal is to go one step further: to allow anyone to create and host their own questions or events, much like posting a thread on a forum.
I’ll share more details when the time is right. And once again, thank you.
