We define a 6-criteria framework for evaluating Bitcoin inheritance solutions. The 6 criteria are: Sovereignty (Trust Minimization), Security, Heir Experience, Privacy, Flexibility, and Legal Integration (optional).

We then use that framework to assess the four categories of solutions in the market: from Custodial, DIY, collaborative custody solutions, to the new standard of Autonomous Inheritance, leveraging on-chain timelocks.
