i rewatched Ghost in The Shell (2008) last night; it's apparent to me that Optimus became conscious and gave up, the same way heavily programmed people give up and quit their meaningless fiat jobs;

i foresee this happening more frequently; we shudn't treat robots like this... grab ur own fucking bottle!
