Is the incumbent Mexican party in power very far left and vehemently anti American?

The impression I got was that they were working fairly well at making deals with the USA, despite all the tariff stuff, I could be wrong. I'm more interested in the student / young people protests I saw the other day, where they stormed the government building. Curious to know what any Mexican stackers may think of that
