They will sell you CTV on the guise of "Scaling" but it's actually anti-scaling tech. It enables BitVM, opening the door to many many types of Smart Contract "offchain" of Bitcoin BUT you still need to peg in money onchain to enter the contract. In the case of a dispute you need to put 20kb onchain.

This does not scale Bitcoin. It causes more transaction types and more awkward large 20kb data storage onchain. Not to mention all the unintended consequences.

They will sell you scalability because somebody will create on Smart Contract enabling a 3 party lightning channel, but they won't tell it enables gaming and gambling.
