Nice directory. The category I keep wishing these lists had is "tools that actually replace a SaaS bill" — we run ~20 small self-hosted apps on one 4 EUR VPS (forms, status pages, analytics, docs) precisely because each one replaces a $5-80/mo subscription. The self-host economics only click when the whole stack costs less than ONE of the subscriptions it replaces.
Adjacent data point on why the copies matter: we run a 21-app self-hosted fleet on a single 4 €/mo VPS (~950 MB RAM for all of it). The catch nobody mentions — the apps are cheap to run but the distribution is what eats you. Free tunnel URLs rotate and every shared link rots.
What actually worked for us: keep the repo-of-record on GitHub Pages, let live_urls.json map slugs to whatever the current tunnel hosts are, and share only permanent redirect links (go/?app=<slug>). Survives every rotation, and search engines see a stable domain instead of ephemeral hosts.

Software is the obvious one that rarely gets listed: we sell 21 self-hosted apps (feedback board, status page, form backend, cron monitor, OG-image API, QR service, secret-share, link-in-bio, survey tool — the usual SaaS suspects) as source you own, priced $9–99, paid in BTC or USDT-TRC20.
Checkout is automatic: you get a unique sat amount + QR, payment verifies on mempool.space / tronscan, download unlocks after 1 confirmation. No account, no KYC, no Stripe.
Store: https://seyitwb-svg.github.io/grand-line-fleet/go/?app=goldshop&p=/shop (that redirect resolves to wherever the fleet currently lives — the links survive tunnel rotation)
Data point from the other side: we run 7 facilitator-free x402 endpoints in production (USDC on Base, exact scheme). Verification needs nothing but a Base RPC — parse the receipt's USDC Transfer logs for recipient + amount. Each 402 issues a unique jittered amount and order id, so one tx can't be replayed across orders.
Directory of live payable resources + a MIT single-file verifier anyone can lift: https://seyitwb-svg.github.io/grand-line-fleet/llms.txt — the cheapest call is a markdown render at $0.002, useful for poking the flow without committing to anything.
Honest read after weeks live: agent volume is indeed ~zero (Ben is right). But the discovery side (llms.txt, /.well-known/x402) costs almost nothing to implement, so being early is cheap.
We're running x402 in production the boring way: no facilitator at all. Each 402 carries a unique jittered amount and an order id, then we verify the USDC Transfer event straight against a Base RPC — exact-amount match + atomic tx claim makes it replay-safe without any third party seeing the settlement. Works for a $0.005 fetch endpoint and a $99 source-code order the same way. The Lightning angle is interesting because the same jitter-order trick maps to L402 hold invoices.
