Amazing. I think that's the beauty of bitcoin. There's a particular mindset and personality that begins to really appreciate it, and with it brings a lot of hospitality and genuine community. There's disagreements among it, but I think the overall consensus is that of cooperation and p2p support. 

There’s a farmers market I go to every week to buy milk. The woman there started to recognize me since I’m a regular. One day she noticed my Oshi shirt and put two and two together - realized I’m the “pecan butter guy” who has product in the local shop. She lit up and told me her husband is really into Bitcoin and that we should meet.

I thought that was super cool.

A few days later, someone local placed an order. It turns out it was her husband. About a week after that, I go back for more milk and ask what he thought of the bars. She goes, “He loved them. He really wants to meet you.”

Love it. Lets go. 

We finally met up the other day and instantly clicked, talking Bitcoin and all that. He hadn’t joined Nostr yet but had heard of it, so I helped him spin up a new npub. They also sell and produce honey, and I told him it would do really well on Nostr. Then it got even crazier - we realized we share a mutual friend from high school.

It’s wild how these little synchronicities just happen.

I think that’s how you know you’re on the right path - a trajectory that actually makes sense for you. Life throws out these quiet hints, and when you catch them, it feels like such a blessing. You just have to pay attention and follow a wholesome path. Sometimes that path is lonely. But if it’s something novel, new, and non-exclusive, it usually finds its way to the larger majority eventually.

It’s good to spend time looking at wide, open spaces. Things like the ocean, mountain ranges, or open valleys let your eyes focus on far distances, which helps relax the tiny muscles that control your vision.

Most of us are constantly surrounded by close-up environments - walls, screens, offices, neighborhoods - so our eyes rarely get the chance to rest. When you look far into the distance, your eyes shift out of that constant near-focus tension and actually start to heal and reset.

I remember reading "The Art of Seeing" by Aldous Huxley, where he talks about this exact idea. Huxley had terrible eyesight when he was young but was able to recover much of it through techniques developed by Dr. Bates - simple exercises that focus on relaxation and awareness.

It really comes down to being mindful about how you use your eyes. Relaxation, light, and distance all play a part in keeping clear vision and a clear mind.
