The inaugural Mempool Developer Day, held on August 21st at Antidote in London, convened a group of Bitcoin developers, researchers and interested attendees to discuss recent events in the space and to showcase new projects under development.

The first Mempool Dev Day brought a small group of Bitcoiners together at Antidote, a London startup studio for Bitcoin founders, for a day of talks and open discussion hosted by Orangesurf, head of strategy and business development at mempool.

The ColdCard entropy exploit was top of mind throughout the morning presentations: what it takes to generate a number nobody can guess, whether every hardware wallet should accept dice rolls, and how MARA's Slipstream private mempool helped move over 10k BTC out of compromised multisigs without getting RBF-sniped. The rest of the day covered vulnerability disclosure, mobile wallet seed generation, Overtorment's Blueberry wallet, Brainstorm's Nostr web of trust, and Nathan Day's Gamestr, BTCMap and Attestr.

The event was held at Antidote, a London based startup studio for Bitcoin founders.
